Global fintech firm Hecto Financial is targeting the AI agent payment infrastructure market using stablecoins.
Hecto Financial said on Wednesday it will begin a proof of concept to build an automated stablecoin payout system optimized for AI agents, in cooperation with Goover, the U.S. unit of AI company Saltlux, and blockchain wallet infrastructure firm Hecto Wallet One.
As the need grows for next-generation payment infrastructure that can efficiently handle micro, high-frequency and cross-border transactions, Hecto Financial is accelerating efforts to secure a key layer in the AI payments market through stablecoin-based global settlement infrastructure. While the existing payments market is based on human-centered consumption activity, an M2M (Machine-to-Machine) payments market in which AI conducts transactions directly is expected to expand in earnest and form a new market in the future.
The core of the collaboration is to build a payment structure that settles the contribution revenue of Goover users in a dollar-based stablecoin, USDC. Goover offers a range of AI content creation features including reports, presentations, podcasts and videos, and plans to expand the service with a revenue-sharing model that distributes advertising revenue to users based on content exposure.
Under the proof of concept, Saltlux will deposit U.S. dollars equal to the calculated revenue amount, and Hecto Financial will convert the funds into USDC and pay them into users' wallets. Hecto Wallet One will provide infrastructure to create and manage digital asset wallets to support a stable payment environment.
This is a case of actually implementing global infrastructure that settles the economic value generated by AI services in stablecoins, and is meaningful in that it proactively verifies an innovative payment and settlement model in preparation for the spread of AI services.
Hecto Financial plans to use the collaboration to proactively secure automated payout and payment infrastructure optimized for AI services and target the global AI agent payments market. In particular, it has established a partnership for Circle Payments Network (CPN) with Circle, enabling it to request USDC minting depending on whether it is legalized, and allowing large-scale transactions to be operated stably. It also sees strength in being able to provide a one-stop digital asset wallet service through group affiliate Hecto Wallet One.
Hecto Financial CEO Jong-won Choi (최종원) said that as AI agent services spread, payment and settlement functions will evolve toward being naturally embedded within services. He said Hecto Financial will take on the role of a key payment layer that processes transactions conducted directly by AI through stablecoin-based global settlement infrastructure.
He added that the company will continue to expand cooperation with AI-based service companies in the future and lead the global AI payment infrastructure market.
