Coinone said on April 14 it plans to support promotions to expand access to USDC (USD Coin).
The decision followed a meeting between Coinone and Circle executives on the day. The two companies met at Coinone’s headquarters in Yeouido and discussed ways to cooperate to develop South Korea’s digital asset ecosystem, as well as the role of stablecoin infrastructure with reliability and transparency.
Coinone plans to sequentially roll out campaigns and promotional programs in various formats, including airdrop events, for customers who trade and hold USDC.
Coinone CEO Myung-hoon Cha (차명훈) said, "As interest and demand for stablecoins are increasing in the recent global environment, we will continue to introduce various promotions that can improve access to and usability of stablecoins in the domestic market."
