CJ Olive Young said on Thursday it will introduce Olive Point, its own points programme, for Olive Young members known as Olive Members next month.

Olive Point is a membership-based points system that can be used like cash when paying at Olive Young’s online mall and offline stores. It is designed to let customers take part in promotions or services offered online and offline while earning points. Olive Members will continue to earn existing CJ ONE points and will also accumulate Olive Point.

Olive Members are assigned tiers based on their cumulative online and offline purchases over the previous 6 months. The programme has 5 tiers: Gold (1,000,000 won or more), Black (700,000 won to under 1,000,000 won), Green (400,000 won to under 700,000 won), Pink (100,000 won to under 400,000 won) and Baby (under 100,000 won). The company plans to roll out events sequentially next month to encourage Olive Point accumulation.

Olive Young said it has strengthened Olive Members benefits and differentiated perks for loyal customers. It said it is moving beyond simply offering discount tools such as tier-based coupons and is developing toward providing experiential content and brand experiences.

An Olive Young official said, "We will continue to strengthen online and offline benefits centred on Olive Members so that customers who love Olive Young can expand their beauty and wellness experience."
