Virtualisation and cloud company Namutech said on April 8 it appointed Cho Jae-woo (조재우), a vice president at Namutech, as chief executive of its subsidiary Cocktail.io.
Cho, the new CEO of Cocktail.io, has led Namutech’s cloud business and sales organisation since 2010. He has driven major project wins and business expansion. Drawing on more than 15 years of field experience, he has expanded business opportunities by responding to demand for cloud-native environments and a shift to platform-as-a-service (PaaS) driven by AI adoption.
Cocktail.io plans to boost market responsiveness based on Cho’s field-focused management experience. It will combine business experience accumulated at Namutech with Cocktail.io’s AI infrastructure optimisation platform technology to continue expanding orders in hybrid cloud and AI.
Cho said he would respond to changes in the AI and cloud markets by combining the capabilities held by Namutech and Cocktail.io. He said he would translate business know-how accumulated in the field into tangible order wins.
