The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Postal Service held a launch ceremony on Tuesday at Seoul Central Post Office for the 16th Post Office Savings university student supporters cohort. It announced the start of the supporters' activities.
The ceremony included an introduction to the Korea Postal Service and programs aimed at strengthening bonds among supporters and building teamwork.
The supporters will promote major Post Office Savings products and services through September, over about 7 months, in ways tailored to university students. They will also be offered opportunities to plan new deposit products and take part in on-site experiences. A small activity allowance will be provided, and teams and individuals with strong performance during the period will receive certificates and rewards among various benefits.
Park In-hwan (박인환), head of the Korea Postal Service, said he expects fresh ideas and activities proposed from a young perspective to further promote the public nature and trust of Post Office Savings.
