Netmarble Cultural Foundation said on Feb. 25 it held a "family tour program" on Feb. 24 at Netmarble's headquarters for the company's employees.
The family tour program is one of the foundation's key social contribution activities. It invites employees' families to the office building to promote the spread of a healthy game culture, improve understanding of work roles and provide opportunities to communicate together.
About 20 families, including participating Netmarble employees, took part in an office tour to improve their overall understanding of the jobs.
The event also ran a "child game education methods and concerns solution" activity for parents, sharing cases of child-education concerns among parents working in the gaming industry and seeking solutions. Children joined a "Become a game character and speak with your body!" program and experienced motion capture technology inside the office building.
The event also offered hands-on programs such as a "family treasure hunt" to help families build bonds.
A Netmarble employee who took part said, "It felt new to be able to show my child the company and give them a tour." The employee added, "It was good to have an opportunity to build memories with my child during the program."
