Global open-source solutions company Red Hat said on Tuesday it will unveil Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA, a software platform jointly developed with NVIDIA.
The platform is an end-to-end AI solution that combines Red Hat AI Enterprise and NVIDIA AI Enterprise. It is optimised for enterprise environments pushing to adopt AI at scale.
Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA is designed to speed adoption of production AI that uses AI in real-world operations rather than testing. It provides a software platform for AI factories based on accelerated computing infrastructure to maximise the performance of models running the inference stack and NVIDIA GPUs.
It is supported on AI factory infrastructure from major system makers including Cisco, Dell Technologies, Lenovo and Supermicro. This allows IT administrators and operations teams to scale and maintain AI deployment environments with the same operational rigour and predictability as typical enterprise workloads.
Chris Wright (크리스 라이트), senior vice president and chief technology officer for global engineering at Red Hat, said a fundamental change is needed in how AI computing stacks are managed to move from AI experimentation to industrial-scale, enterprise-wide production. He said Red Hat is accelerating organisational AI deployments and rapid moves into production through Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA. He said it supports customers so they can apply the same level of operational rigour as their core IT platforms to lead and scale AI strategies on a stable, high-performance foundation built with verified hybrid cloud solutions.
