TON Core has begun rolling out to the mainnet a Sub-Second upgrade aimed at achieving block finality in under 1 second.

The upgrade, a consensus-layer update, is focused on improving on-chain response speeds.

A high-speed consensus mechanism is set to be fully activated on the mainnet on April 7, local time.

Telegram-based TON (The Open Network) blockchain is also strengthening support to enable more diverse use of assets through measures such as Tether USDT integration, the introduction of a gold stablecoin and cooperation with LayerZero.
