Hana Financial Group on Saturday unveiled collaboration goods to support the creative work and economic independence of artists with developmental disabilities.
The goods were made using prizewinning works from the Hana Artverse art contest for artists with developmental disabilities, which the group has run since 2022. It is part of a project to improve disability awareness and spread an inclusive culture.
Brands including Puma, Coffeebean Korea and Monami participated in the collaboration. The goods were produced as daily items such as tumblers, eco-bags, sign pens, T-shirts and card wallets.
Upcycling fashion brand 119REO and Swedish eco-friendly brand Teko Tryck also joined, adding products that reflect sustainability.
Hana Financial plans to donate all proceeds from sales of the goods to Spring Shine, a social enterprise that supports artists with disabilities. It will pay 50 percent as royalties to the artists with developmental disabilities who took part in the collaboration.
The goods will be available from April 17 to June 23 at a sales booth on the first floor of Hana Bank's Euljiro headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
An official at Hana Financial's ESG Planning Team said the group worked with various brands so people can naturally encounter the works of artists with developmental disabilities in everyday life. The official said the group will continue to expand opportunities to support the social advancement and economic independence of people with disabilities.
