AI and data-based HR tech platform Workssphere will hold an online conference for people working in developer roles on April 23 called JobKorea Devcon (JOBKOREA DEVCON).
Workssphere arranged the event to present practical solutions through cases shared by various mentors who have grown through intense work in the field. JobKorea Devcon is Workssphere's first online conference for the developer job group. Seven working developers, from junior to senior and tech lead levels, will participate and share practice-focused content including job search strategies, survival in the AI era, practical AI use at work and directions for career planning.
Workssphere said Min So-hee (최소희), a front-end developer responsible for in-house development work, will give a talk on what developers should prepare for in an era when AI does everything.
Talks by mentors who previously worked at major domestic big tech and platform companies will follow. Yoon Yeo-jun (윤여준), an Android developer at Naver, and Dingcodingco's former Toss back-end developer will present their own experiences on employment and survival strategies in the AI era through case-based stories. A back-end developer from a Kakao affiliate, Bae Hwi-dong (배휘동), a lead on the AX team at Korca, and Kang Hoon (강훈), a tech lead at Baricorporation, will also share AI-related developer trends and practical know-how needed in the field.
A session titled "Ask Your Remote Senior" was also prepared for real-time communication with conference participants. Han Hee-chang (한희창), head of the Innovation Service Development Team at K-Bank, is set to provide career counseling and tailored advice across developer roles based on questions submitted in advance and in real time.
The conference will be held on April 23 from 7 p.m. for about three hours via the online video platform Zoom. Registration is available until April 21 on JobKorea's notices page, and anyone can participate for free.
