HubSpot is changing the pricing policy for its Breeze Customer Agent and Breeze Prospecting Agent based on “results” rather than “usage,” SiliconANGLE reported on April 2.

Costs will be charged only when both agents successfully complete assigned tasks. HubSpot introduced a model that directly links costs to outcomes, moving away from per-seat and per-interaction billing that is common in the AI market.

The Customer Agent will move from “$1 per conversation” to “50 cents per resolved conversation.”

The Prospecting Agent previously charged a monthly fee based on the number of contacts stored. It will instead charge $1 per qualified lead it recommends for outreach.

HubSpot said results-based billing had been difficult because many AI systems lacked the consistency to guarantee outcomes. It said it can deliver more predictable results by embedding agents into SmartCRM and allowing them to access customer data, relationship history and work context.

First unveiled in September 2024, Breeze is an AI layer built across the customer platform. It provides a chat-based copilot, automated AI agents and a customer intelligence system. It also supports content generation, workflow automation, lead response and customer support handling.
