Audio AI startup ElevenLabs has launched ElevenMusic, an AI music generation app for iOS, TechCrunch reported on Wednesday.

Users can create music using text prompts and search for, listen to or remix AI-generated songs made by others. TechCrunch said the move targets competition with Suno and Udio.

ElevenLabs sees tools that can create music and other media with AI as a growth driver.

ElevenMusic is free to use. It allows users to generate up to 7 songs a day with natural-language prompts. Users can adjust track length, whether to include lyrics and writing style. They can remix other users' tracks with text prompts, and remixes also count toward the daily generation limit.

The ElevenMusic app also offers live stations, pre-built albums and mood-based daily mixes.

A paid Pro plan is also available for $9.99 a month or $95.90 a year. The Pro plan offers up to 500 tracks a month, more than 500 GB of storage and access to all styles and moods.

ElevenLabs raised $500 million in Series C funding in February at a valuation of $11 billion.
