[DigitalToday reporter Hwang Chi-gyu (황치규)] AI agent platform Kilo has launched a product line to control AI agents used indiscriminately in corporate environments, VentureBeat reported on April 1 local time.
The products Kilo unveiled are KiloClaw for Organizations and KiloClaw Chat. They are solutions aimed at addressing so-called “shadow AI,” a problem in which employees secretly run work AI agents on personal infrastructure.
Kilo introduced the products on the basis that large companies lack visibility related to AI. According to the company, Kilo said it heard from senior AI officials at government contractors about cases in which developers run OpenClaw agents on random virtual server instances to manage calendars and monitor storage. One corporate AI chief was quoted as telling Kilo, “We have no idea about audit logs, credential management, or which data touches which API.”
KiloClaw for Organizations helps move agents from developers’ personal infrastructure into a managed environment where organisation-level controls apply.
KiloClaw Chat supports easy use of AI agents by non-developers. Previously, complex setup was required to connect external messaging services such as Telegram or Discord, but KiloClaw Chat lets users talk directly with agents through a web UI and a dedicated app without configuring external channels, the company explained.
Kilo secured 25,000 users in a month after formally launching a personal product last month.
