Nexthurs is stepping up efforts to expand the ecosystem of its blockchain game platform Cross by bringing in a large number of promising games from Chinese developers.
Nexthurs said on Jan. 5 it will strengthen the competitiveness of the Cross platform this year by onboarding games from various countries and genres. It plans to broaden its content base through cooperation with developers in China.
It will onboard 5 games from Chinese developers on Cross in the first half of this year. The lineup was confirmed as Canonization of the Gods, Idle Fantasy, Throne of Chaos, Miss Legend and Chronicles of the Celestial Way.
It will also offer a range of genres, from idle RPGs to collection RPGs and action RPGs, to target diverse user groups.
The company said the role of its China unit, established in March last year, was significant in the result. The Nexthurs China unit serves as a base for local game sourcing and investment, discovering promising games and helping them expand globally through the Cross platform.
Nexthurs is also pushing additional onboarding by continuously finding competitive games from Chinese developers, including the strategy simulation game (SLG) Project FF, in addition to the titles already disclosed.
Chief Executive Jang Hyun-kook said, "2026 will be a year when the Cross platform expands in earnest by onboarding games from various countries and genres." He added, "In particular, we will be reborn as a global on-chain game platform that embraces both light and hardcore users through diverse content from Chinese developers."
