Naver D2SF said on March 31 it made follow-on investments in startups Soundable Health and Nubilab.
Soundable Health developed an artificial intelligence (AI) model that measures health conditions by analyzing bodily sound data. Its first product, proudP, is a solution that measures and monitors urinary symptoms, including benign prostatic hyperplasia, by analyzing urine sounds. Based on more than 500,000 data cases, it delivers 97 percent accuracy using only a smartphone. It complies with medical device quality and personal data protection regulations as a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) class II medical device.
About 130 urology specialists and about 50,000 patients in the United States are using it cumulatively. From 2026, insurance coverage including Medicare will become available, and it is expanding business-to-business (B2B) licensing deals with companies in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and home appliances. Naver D2SF made the follow-on investment in a pre-Series A round after a seed investment in 2019.
Nubilab developed a nutrition management solution that uses a scanner to photograph food and analyze type, intake and nutritional content in real time. It installs scanners in places such as daycare centers and schools to measure data. Using a multimodal AI model based on more than 100 million food data points, it analyzes dietary habit data with 98 percent accuracy in 0.3 seconds.
As of the end of 2025, it had secured 1,000 global client companies cumulatively and 100,000 users. It is supplying U.S. hospitals after signing with a catering group for a solution that uses AI to automate an inspection process matching patient meal order information with the actual food provided. Naver D2SF made the follow-on investment in a Series A bridge round after a seed investment in 2021.
Sanghwan Yang (양상환), head of Naver D2SF, said both teams had verified product-market fit (PMF) in the U.S. healthcare market. He said Naver D2SF would focus follow-on investments on startups expanding globally.
