Grepp, which runs the developer skills growth platform Programmers, said on March 31 it has officially launched an "AI Competency Assessment" service to support corporate AI transformation.

The company stressed that the service is structured to evaluate both the results of AI use and the problem-solving process, applying a process analysis method that diagnoses capabilities across prompt design, verification, refinement and linking to outcomes from multiple angles.

According to the company, the Programmers AI Competency Assessment analyzes step by step how candidates design prompts and how they verify and refine AI answers to produce final deliverables. It measures both AI-use results and the problem-solving process. It also provides a multi-angle diagnosis of whether capabilities from prompt design through refinement lead to tangible work performance.

It targets all job categories, and can be used for large-scale open recruitment or company-wide competency diagnostics, backed by accumulated assessment data of more than 50,000 cases and infrastructure supporting up to 20,000 concurrent users.

Grepp explained it is introducing the service by combining more than 10 years of assessment know-how from operating Programmers with question-setting and operations capabilities from the AI-based online testing platform Monito, which has been used by major South Korean conglomerates and financial institutions.

Grepp CEO Sung-su Lim (임성수) said, "The tangible results of adopting AI ultimately depend on how flexibly it is used in practical work." He added, "By measuring the entire process as data, from prompt design to verification, refinement and linking to outcomes, we will enable companies to accurately identify the talent they need in the AI era."
