Hana Bank said on March 30 it won the Best Bank in Korea 2026 award from U.S. financial and economic magazine Global Finance.
The award is its 10th overall and sixth consecutive win. Hana Bank said it was also named the country’s best foreign exchange bank for the 25th straight time and best trade finance bank for the 25th time this year by Global Finance, and was selected as the top bank in the overall evaluation.
Global Finance said Hana Bank showed excellence in AI-based digital finance innovation, global network-based financial services, building a stable profit structure, risk management and providing customised financial solutions, despite a rapidly changing financial environment.
A Hana Bank official said its customer-focused competitiveness has been recognised internationally and it will continue strengthening its competitiveness in global financial markets.
