Hana Financial Group said on Tuesday it will run its 'Haebom Closet' clothing donation campaign to promote carbon neutrality through resource recycling and to spread a culture of sharing.

The campaign runs through April 30. It is an ESG programme that donates and sells clothing collected through closet cleanouts and uses the proceeds to support vulnerable groups.

The campaign began in 2020 and marks its 14th round this year, with cumulative donations of 65,145 items and 3,870 participants.

Donations can be 신청ed through the 'NEW Hana OneQ' app, and participants can also donate through collection boxes installed at the group headquarters building. If an in-person visit is difficult, the app also offers a free delivery service.

Eligible items include clothing and unsoiled bags, dolls and hats. Collected items are sorted and sold through Beautiful Store, and part of the proceeds is used to support vulnerable groups.

Participants will also receive donation receipts for income deductions for year-end tax settlement.

A Hana Financial official said, "We thank customers and employees who took part in the Haebom Closet campaign," adding, "We will continue ESG activities that consider environmental and social value."
