SK Telecom will showcase what it calls "full-stack AI" capabilities spanning everything from AI infrastructure to services on the global stage. SK Telecom said on Saturday it will set up a 992-sq-m exhibition hall at MWC26, held in Barcelona, Spain from March 2 to 5, featuring AI infrastructure, models and services.
At the exhibition hall located in the centre of Hall 3 at Fira Gran Via, the company will present the theme "SKT's AI that creates infinite possibilities" and propose a combination of telecommunications and AI technology. It will disclose infrastructure know-how accumulated through attracting an Ulsan AI data centre (DC) and building the "Haein" GPU cluster. It will unveil for the first time an "AI DC Infrastructure Manager" that integrates and manages various data in an AI DC in real time. It will also display the "K-sovereign GPUaaS" solution, which integrates the high-performance cloud platform "PetaSUS AI Cloud", a GPU resource optimisation solution and a real-time monitoring system.
The company will also introduce an "AI Inference Factory" targeting an AI market that is shifting from training to inference. It provides integrated equipment, computing infrastructure and software to address the cost, power and memory limits of existing AI DCs. In the network area, it will display AI agents, "AI base station" technology that provides telecommunications and AI services at the same time, and antenna optimisation technology based on on-device AI.
The 519B-scale large language model "A.X K1", which advanced to the second stage of the government's "Dokpamo" project, will show domestic AI capabilities through on-site demonstrations. A digital twin platform related to physical AI, a robot training platform and the first-person-view video analysis solution "SynapseGo" will also be unveiled. AI services such as A. Phone and A. Note, the behaviour-recognition care service "Carevia", SK Hynix's AI physical-property prediction system, and SK Intellix's AI wellness robot "Namux" will also be on display.
The exhibition hall will introduce the "T.H.E. AI" governance framework to respond to global AI regulations. Partner AI innovation companies including Rebellions, MangoBoost, SelectStar and Studio Lab will also take part. Chief Executive Jeong Jae-heon (정재헌) and other executives will seek cooperation with global telecom operators, AI DC operators and startups. The company will also operate a dedicated exhibition space for domestic startups participating in MWC26 and support their efforts to attract global investment.
Jeong said, "This MWC26 is an event where SKT shows the world how it is actually implementing AI infrastructure, models and services overall based on telecommunications." He said, "Through our 'full-stack AI' competitiveness, we will elevate SKT's role in the global AI ecosystem by another step."
