Securitize is working with Uniswap to support on-chain trading of BlackRock’s BUIDL (BlackRock’s USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund) through UniswapX.
Asset manager BlackRock said it will deploy BUIDL on the DeFi platform Uniswap and will also buy UNI, Uniswap’s native token. It did not disclose the size of the purchase.
Securitize also whitelisted multiple market makers, including crypto liquidity provider Wintermute, to facilitate trading. BUIDL is limited to eligible buyers who are individuals or institutions with assets of at least $5 million.
