TikTok said on March 20 it will run a global in-app campaign to mark the comeback of BTS' fifth studio album 'ARIRANG'.

The campaign will run from March 20 through April 3. It was designed to allow users around the world to use related content on TikTok ahead of the release of BTS' new album.

Users can participate through a dedicated page in the TikTok app. They can complete missions to obtain a limited 'ARIRANG' profile frame or collect a set of digital stickers. They can use the stickers to decorate stickers within the app.

TikTok will also provide a dedicated editing effect made to match the title track 'SWIM'. Users can also check album-related activity information, including the new album's official tracklist, a preview function and information related to 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG' that is scheduled to be released on Netflix.

The album is BTS' first new release in 3 years and 9 months. BTS currently has more than 74.4 million TikTok followers. Posts that include the '#BTS' hashtag total 104 million, and cumulative likes for related content have surpassed 1.7 billion.

Yoo Kyung-chul (유경철), head of TikTok Asia artist and label partnerships, said he hopes the experience will allow people around the world to celebrate the comeback and connect with BTS' music through various content.
