Korbit said on Thursday it held its "2026 compliance training" for employees across the company.
The training was designed to strengthen the effectiveness of internal controls and spread a compliance management culture throughout the organisation. It focused on internal rules and requirements needed to help establish a transparent order in the digital asset market.
The training covered practice-focused topics to respond to the changing regulatory environment, including compliance with the Digital Asset User Protection Act, understanding self-regulatory rules of the Digital Asset eXchange Alliance (DAXA), and analysis of recent cases involving shortcomings in internal controls.
Oh Se-jin (오세진), Korbit's chief executive, said the more advanced the regulatory environment becomes, the compliance mindset of each employee serves as a core competitiveness factor for an exchange. He said Korbit will continue to build a trusted exchange that customers can use with confidence through systematic training and thorough internal management systems.
