Edra, an AI-based workflow automation startup founded by former Palantir staff, has raised $30 million in a Series A round, TechCrunch reported on March 18 local time.

Sequoia Capital led the investment.

Edra has developed technology that uses companies’ operational data to automatically build a knowledge base and keep it updated. Co-founders Eugene Alpeza (유진 알페자) and Yanis Karamanlakis (야니스 카라만라키스) met at university 13 years ago. They later founded Edra after going independent while leading AI projects at Palantir. Alpeza led the launch of Palantir's AI platform, and Karamanlakis was in charge of projects applying AI models in real operating environments.

Edra is currently used in IT service management and customer support. HubSpot, ASOS, Cushman & Wakefield and easyJet are among those using Edra.
