[Digital Today reporter Hojeong Lee] Nexon on Wednesday unveiled an illustration and logo marking the 30th anniversary of the online RPG 'The Kingdom of the Winds'.

Launched in 1996 and marking its 30th year of service this year, 'The Kingdom of the Winds' produced an illustration and logo commemorating its 30-year history ahead of a major update in April. The illustration depicts past content in the form of a chaekgado, and the logo is styled as line art. A video released alongside it portrays, through logo play, fireworks launched by a squirrel in 1996 reaching 2026.

Ahead of the major update, Nexon will run a teaser event using the commemorative illustration on the official website through April 2.

In an advent calendar concept, it will reveal 1 mission each day for 14 days. Users who complete all 14 missions will be entered into a draw to receive a 30th anniversary film camera or 30,000 Nexon Cash.

In April, it will roll out a 30th anniversary major update that includes a new area, Silla, and a new class, Black Hwarang.

It will expand the maximum level to 950 and introduce the ninth advancement. It also plans to add new content including 2 new five-stage raids, new legendary gear Britra, new cooperative content called Goeryeoknansin, and a new growth system called Shinryeok.
