[DigitalToday reporter Yoonseo Lee] Prominent cryptocurrency YouTuber Oscar Ramos (오스카 라모스) delivered a strong message to XRP investors. He said they would regret not going all in on XRP, flashing a strong buy signal. XRP is currently at $1.46, down more than 60 percent from its 2025 high of $3.66.
On March 18 local time, blockchain media outlet The Crypto Basic reported that Ramos stressed XRP was undervalued and said now was a buying opportunity.
Not all investors agree with his claim. One X user, formerly Twitter, warned against optimism, saying most people would be fine even without going all in. Another investor said 99 percent of their portfolio was invested in XRP, but added, "We will have to see if I become rich."
XRP recently rebounded to as high as $1.60 and regained a market capitalisation of $93 billion. It moved to fourth by market value, overtaking Binance Coin (BNB). As the short-term rebound emerges, expectations in the market for a reassessment of XRP are also resurfacing. Some experts say the current price remains low relative to XRP's potential value. Analyst First Ledger said, "A $10 coin is trading at $1.30 to $1.50," arguing the current range is severely undervalued.
Some in the market still worry about possible price dilution from rising supply. Despite the rebound, views on XRP remain split between its appeal as undervalued and supply-related pressure.
Ramos also recommended buying XRP in 2025, but the price has since fallen by more than half. Chart analysts raised the possibility that XRP could fall to $0.70. They warned that further correction is inevitable if it fails to break through resistance at $1.80 to $2.40. Still, some forecasts point to the possibility of a long-term rise to more than $20.
Despite Ramos's strong bullish call, views on XRP remain divided. Some optimists stress its undervalued appeal and potential for a long-term rise, while cautious voices warn about rising supply and further downside risk. Ultimately, the dispute over XRP again shows that how much volatility and risk investors can tolerate, more than expected returns, is a key variable in investment decisions.
