The Korea MVNO Association on Monday held its 14th annual general meeting and approved its future business plans.

The meeting, held at the Samjung Hotel in Seoul, was attended by about 30 people including Chairman Ko Myung-soo (고명수), representatives of member companies and staff. The association approved agenda items including its 2025 business performance and settlement report, as well as its 2026 business plan and budget proposal.

The association said it will focus this year on improving the business environment through legal and institutional improvements related to MVNO services, government outreach, and identifying and correcting unfair practices. It also plans to concentrate on user protection work, including self-regulatory activities for personal information protection and efforts to improve telecommunications service systems.

Ko said MVNO services have established themselves as a key driver in reducing household telecom expenses. He stressed that full government support and institutional improvements must back the industry's survival and sustainable growth.
