SOOP will hold a Valorant event in which popular streamers and professional gamers form teams to compete.

On Wednesday, SOOP said it will host the '2026 Valorant Myeol-mang-jeon Pro-Am' through Feb. 22.

The tournament is a hybrid competition featuring 12 popular streamers who represent the FPS category on SOOP and 8 players from the 'Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific' league. The total prize pool is 15 million won. All matches will be played online.

Eight professional gamers will compete, including players from Gen.G, DRX and VL in the VCT Pacific League. On the streamer side, Bernyberny, Kim Doen-mo, Kim Gyu-tae, Goddead, Serena, Teuhal and Bebery will take part. Matches will be played in a single-elimination format, with five-person teams mixing pros and streamers.

A focus of the tournament will be what kind of synergy Kim Doen-mo, Bernyberny, Goddead and Kim Gyu-tae, who have past Challengers League experience, show with active professional gamers.

SOOP said it planned the tournament to reflect growing interest in Valorant content among streamers across various categories on the platform. It plans to expand the Valorant ecosystem on the platform through content in which pro gamers and streamers work together.
