[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Manus, an AI agent service acquired by Meta, has introduced a personal AI agent on Telegram and plans to integrate with major messaging apps including WhatsApp, Line and Slack, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 17.

With the launch, Telegram users can connect to the Manus agent by scanning a QR code and can also carry out complex tasks. These include preparing for weekly meetings, creating profile images and converting photos into videos. Users can choose whether responses are concise, structured or conversational. Manus offers the "Manus 1.6 Lite" model for quick responses and the "Manus 1.6 Max" model for in-depth analysis.

Manus co-founder Tao Zhang (타오 장) said on X (Twitter) that it plans to support the Manus agent on WhatsApp, Line, Slack and Discord within the next 30 days. It also plans to launch native apps for Windows and Mac and add a feature that directly operates users' PCs. Manus was acquired by Meta in December after it was unveiled in March last year. Meta plans to keep Manus as an independent product while also integrating it with its own platforms.
