House Party Protocol (House Party Protocol, HPP) and Bloko will hold a global game-making contest, the HPP AI Game Jam, from the 14th. The event will run on a format in which participants create and share games in a short time using natural-language-based “vibe coding,” and those with no game-making experience can also take part.

Participants create a game using vibe coding on NORI, HPP’s game development hub, then post the result on X and submit an entry application. Winners will be selected by combining community response to the X posts, such as likes and reposts, with organisers’ evaluations. Inappropriate content such as gambling and adult content will be excluded from participation and judging.

The main prize pool for the contest totals 50,000 HPP. It includes prizes for first, second and third place and a random draw for participants (3 people). All participants will receive development credits worth about $10 for production.

HPP and Bloko plan to expand the programme, starting with this game jam, to cover various dApp themes such as finance, utilities, data and communities. They will provide follow-up support for strong projects, including NFT-based expansion, production and issuance of app and game assets, design of monetisation models and ecosystem integration. They will also push ahead in stages with a launchpad-type service to support this.

The two companies created the AI Open House Fund to support production programmes including this game jam. The fund will start at 1 billion won and they plan to expand it in stages depending on programme results and broader participation.

HPP director Jae-yeon Nam (남재연) said, “Through this game jam, we will spread the experience of anyone creating and sharing outputs through vibe coding.” He added, “Starting with games, we will broaden to various themes and strengthen support so that strong projects can lead to integration with the HPP ecosystem.”

Bloko CEO Won-beom Kim (김원범) said, “This game jam aims for users who are encountering AI-based creation tools for the first time to create and share outputs in a short time.” He added, “We will increase global participation through various programmes in the future.”
