AI digital twin startup Simily has raised $100 million in funding, SiliconANGLE reported on Wednesday local time. Index Ventures led the round, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, AI researcher Fei-Fei Li and OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy.

Simily is developing digital twins that use AI to predict people’s behavior. Companies collect feedback through consumer research before launching new products. Simily replaces that process with AI to cut costs and time. Companies can use Simily’s technology for user interface tests and for forecasting corporate earnings announcements.

The company said Simily’s AI model predicts questions from securities firm analysts with 80 percent accuracy.

Index Ventures partner Shardul Shah said, "Simily builds digital twins that precisely model real human behavior."
