NH Investment & Securities said on Feb. 12 it will hold the first Investment Championship live trading competition.

The competition will run for 6 weeks from March 9 to April 17 and will be limited to a domestic stocks league. Applications will be accepted from Feb. 9 to March 27, starting 1 month before the competition begins.

The Investment Championship live trading competition will be operated in 3 leagues, subdivided by the size of underlying assets.

They are the Rookie League with underlying assets of at least 100,000 won, the Challenger League with underlying assets of at least 1,000,000 won and the Pro League with underlying assets of at least 30,000,000 won. The Rookie League is a small-investment league open from 100,000 won, sharply lowering the barrier to entry so participants can take on live trading without 부담.

Prize money will be given to top customers by return in each league, depending on the league and ranking.

It will award up to 80 million won in prize money for first place in the Pro League. It will also provide separate weekly awards during the competition for top return earners among participants across all leagues.
