GS Bizple said on Feb. 12 it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Customs UNI-PASS International Agency (CUPIA) to promote global expansion of an intelligent human resource management (HRM) system and identify joint business opportunities.
The agreement centers on diversifying business models by combining CUPIA’s global export network with GS Bizple’s intelligent HRM technology.
The foundation plans to add HRM and human resource development (HRD) to its existing business area focused on electronic customs clearance systems, expanding into overall corporate operations such as organization, attendance and payroll.
The two sides plan to complete an HRM system project for the Algeria Customs Administration that they are currently carrying out jointly. They also plan to pursue joint marketing based on it in the Maghreb region and in CUPIA’s existing project countries.
Lee Yoon-seok (이윤석), CEO of GS Bizple, said the agreement would go beyond simple technological cooperation and serve as an opportunity for domestic HRM solutions to evolve in line with regional blocs and local cultures in each country. He said GS Bizple would combine CUPIA’s global network with its own solution capabilities to secure competitiveness in the global intelligent HRM market.
