Samsung SDS participated in Manifest 2026, a global logistics innovation conference held in Las Vegas from Feb. 9 to 11, showcasing its digital logistics business capabilities.

During the event, Samsung SDS held business meetings and networking with global shippers and partners through session presentations and operation of an exhibition booth. At the booth, it introduced IT-based logistics services, from international transport such as ocean and air to inland transport and local logistics including warehousing, centered on its digital logistics service platform Cello Square that handles everything from quotes to bookings and settlements on a single platform.

In its session presentation, Samsung SDS introduced challenges companies face amid a rapidly changing global supply chain environment and its key capabilities, including international maritime transport risk management and a data-based global transport control tower. It also presented, jointly with Kyocera, a case of warehouse and local transport innovation in Europe.

Samsung SDS explained that many shippers and forwarders are facing a lack of visibility and transparency in transport processes due to issues such as geopolitical risks, climate change, and restrictions on maritime infrastructure and operations. To address this, it said it provides real-time monitoring of the entire logistics process through Cello Square, AI and machine learning-based prediction of risk factors, and accurate estimated times of arrival. It also stressed that it is delivering digital innovation by providing IT-based logistics services integrated across the full process from factories, transport and customs clearance to warehousing and distribution to expand in the European market.

Marten Sillesen (마르텐 실레센), a Kyocera executive in charge of logistics who also spoke at the presentation, said, "We applied Samsung SDS's IT-based logistics services to improve data transparency and automate the decision-making system, boosting logistics efficiency." He added, "We will continue business innovation through cooperation with Samsung SDS."

Oh Goo-il (오구일), head of Samsung SDS's logistics business division and a vice president, said, "Manifest 2026 was an opportunity to promote Samsung SDS's digital logistics service capabilities to the global market and strengthen our network with leaders in logistics and supply chain technology." He added, "We will continue to advance AI and cloud-based technologies and expand our global business."
