Netmarble said on March 13 it held an online showcase for its new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Sol: Enchant', due for release in the first half of the year.

Netmarble unveiled the development direction and core content for Sol: Enchant through the online showcase at 8 p.m. on March 12. Kim Hyo-soo (김효수), development PD at Altnine who appeared in the studio, said the game’s ultimate goal was to "minimize user restrictions and maximize the authority users can enjoy."

The key content introduced at the showcase falls into three broad areas: the Divine Authority system, the business model (BM) and the economy, and play modes.

The 'Divine Authority' system lets certain users exercise service operation powers such as deciding update specifications, unlocking the BM, opening content and banning chat. It is divided into three levels depending on the scope of authority: god (server), chief god (world) and absolute god (overall).

It also revealed a BM and economic direction aimed at a free economy. A feature is that users can trade both the results they obtain through summoning and paid items on the exchange.

It also provides various play modes to improve user convenience. The '24-hour offline play mode' combines offline mode and schedule mode, allowing users to grow their characters according to a preset schedule without having to log in to the game continuously for 24 hours, without separate restrictions.
