Elice Group, an AI full-stack company, said on Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with security company AhnLab for "AI data centre and next-generation network security". The two companies held a signing ceremony at Elice Group's headquarters the previous day.

The agreement was 추진됐다 to build a strong security system as the spread of AI technology increases the importance of data centres and edge environments.

The two companies will jointly design customised security optimised for virtual machine (VM) and container environments where AI training and inference are performed, while meeting government cloud security certification (CSAP IaaS) standards. They also plan to deploy AhnLab's 100Gbps DDoS response solution, "AhnLab DPX", and next-generation intrusion prevention system (IPS), "AhnLab IPS", in Elice's AI portable modular data centre (PMDC) to verify performance and stability.

Elice Group CTO Park Jeong-guk (박정국) said, "Starting with the demonstration of a 100Gbps-class security system, we will jointly create a next-generation AI data centre security reference that can be competitive in the global market." AhnLab corporate sales head Yoo Myung-ho (유명호) said, "We will implement a safe security environment required by the AI era by applying AhnLab's security technology and know-how to Elice Group's data centre."
