GS Retail said on Tuesday that GS25 has launched a new quick-commerce product, a single-serving pizza, developed in cooperation with Baedal Minjok.
The company said it selected the category as a collaboration product after noting that about 40 percent of total sales from its existing ready-made pizzas, including Gopizza, come from delivery and pickup services.
GS25 plans to speed up development of quick-commerce products specialised for platforms. It aims to strengthen competitiveness by providing a differentiated customer experience across the entire quick-commerce process, from ordering to delivery, pickup and collection.
Bae Seung-seop (배승섭), an MD on GS25's chilled and frozen team, said, "Based on growth in quick-commerce sales, we are continuously expanding specialised products linked with platforms." He added, "Leveraging our online-for-offline capabilities, we will enhance franchisee profit growth and strengthen customer benefits."
