Hike-run animation production studio 100 Studio said on Tuesday it took part in producing 'With Gardevoir Tomorrow Too' for Poketoon, an official Pokemon short animation series.

Poketoon is a short animation project released on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. Each work features emotional storytelling that focuses on a single Pokemon. Designed for adults as well as children, the series has drawn steady interest from global fans.

'With Gardevoir Tomorrow Too' centers on the relationship between protagonist Yugo and his partner Pokemon, Gardevoir. It depicts dreams and reality, setbacks and renewed attempts in a detailed way. The bond between trainer and Pokemon that continues in everyday life, and the mega-evolution sequence in the climax, have been assessed as further strengthening the Poketoon series' emotional depth.

The work is a global production case in which all 100 Studio bases in Japan's Nishi-Ogikubo and Osaka, South Korea's Seoul and Taiwan's Taipei collaborated in a linked effort. Through a pipeline that organically combined the production capabilities of each regional studio, it captured contemporary sensibilities and direction while faithfully maintaining the Pokemon intellectual property universe and quality standards.

100 Studio SEOUL in South Korea is the most recently established studio in 100 Studio's global production network. Centered on chief executive officer Seongcheol Ko (고성철), it is building production experience by joining global IP projects. Multiple Korean animators and production staff took part in 'With Gardevoir Tomorrow Too'.

Kotaro Horiguchi (호리구치 코타로), head of 100 Studio, said, "Poketoon is a special project that can emotionally convey the charm of Pokemon, a global IP, with depth within a short running time." He added, "For this work, studios in South Korea and Taiwan collaborated alongside Japan, symbolically showing the global production system that 100 Studio aims for."
