AI cybersecurity startup Kai Cyber Inc. has raised $125 million and also unveiled an AI agent-based security platform, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday.
Kai, founded by Claroty co-founder Galina Antova (갈리나 안토바) and SecurityMatter co-founder Damiano Bolzoni (다미아노 볼조니), provides security solutions that use AI to respond to automated cyberattacks.
Kai's platform uses AI agents to analyze data from networks, cloud services, endpoints and security tools to detect anomalies and vulnerabilities. It automatically executes defensive measures. It automates exposure analysis, threat detection and incident response to continuously monitor security environments. When necessary, it takes actions such as isolation and credential revocation.
Kai co-founder and CEO Antova said, "Cybersecurity has become a competition between AI systems." She added, "Kai presents a new paradigm in which intelligent agents automate security on a single platform." The company's platform is optimized for hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises, cloud and operational technology networks, and is being adopted across industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals, automotive and hotels, the company said.
