Shinhan Bank said on Feb. 10 it signed a business agreement with Worlddagachi at Shinhan Bank's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to expand its foreign customer base and strengthen service competitiveness.

Worlddagachi operates Dagachi, an AI-based multilingual communication platform that supports 16 languages, including English, Chinese and Vietnamese. Users can share and communicate 생활 information needed to stay in South Korea, including jobs, housing and visas, through the platform.

Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly 추진 various services that combine finance and daily-life support, including providing app and web-based services to improve financial convenience for foreign customers, operating mutual advertising pages to promote their services, and expanding efforts to attract foreign customers.

A Shinhan Bank official said, "We will expand linked services so that foreign customers using the Worlddagachi platform can use financial services more easily." The official added, "We will continue to prepare services that improve customer convenience through cooperation with various platforms for foreign customers."

Hae-seok Kwon (권해석), CEO of Worlddagachi, said, "With this agreement, customers using the Worlddagachi platform will be able to use not only 생활 services but also Shinhan Bank's financial services more conveniently, and I think financial access will be strengthened."
