[Digital Today reporter Yoonseo Lee] Hyperliquid (HYPE), which has drawn interest from Arthur Hayes, could rise how much over the next 5 years? With artificial intelligence (AI) offering medium- to long-term price outlooks for Hyperliquid, investor curiosity is also growing.

On March 10 (all times local), blockchain media outlet The Crypto Basic introduced the results of an analysis of Hyperliquid's price moves for 2026 to 2030 using major generative AI models.

HYPE is the native token of Hyperliquid, a decentralised perpetual futures exchange (DEX), and has shown a strong recovery despite recent market uncertainty. It slipped to $26 on Feb. 28 as tensions in the Middle East escalated, but quickly rebounded to $30 and is currently holding around $34. On a weekly basis it is up about 10 percent. The token has gained 10.96 percent over the past month and surged 142 percent since the start of the year.

So how do AI models view Hyperliquid? First, crypto prediction platform CoinCodex projected that Hyperliquid would rise to $93.56 in 2026. It forecast that a subsequent correction would continue, with a likely drop to $51 by the end of 2027 and to $38 in 2028. Even so, it expected a rebound from 2029 to $49.65 and a rise to $144.66 in 2030.

In contrast, another prediction website, Telegaon, offered a more optimistic outlook. It cited the possibility of sharp gains to $202 in 2030, about 470 percent higher than the current price, starting from $102.89 in 2026, then $121 in 2027, $148 in 2028 and $175 in 2029.

ChatGPT's outlook is relatively conservative. It suggested a possible rise to $54.87 by the end of 2026, followed by $61.58 in 2027, $79.02 in 2028, $102.68 in 2029 and $138 in 2030.

While the detailed forecasts differed by AI model, a broadly positive view prevailed on Hyperliquid's medium- to long-term upside potential. However, since the projections are only reference materials, the actual price could vary depending on the market environment, investor sentiment and whether the ecosystem expands. As a result, the market is expected to watch Hyperliquid's growth momentum and price moves closely.
