Devsisters said on Tuesday it will team up with Lotte World Aquarium for the spring season to run the collaboration "CookieRun in Lotte World Aquarium: Sea Adventure" from March 27 to June 7.

The partnership will introduce nine newly redesigned zones with a CookieRun theme across spaces spanning basement levels 1 and 2 of Lotte World Aquarium.

The collaboration focuses on artwork and storytelling that reinterpret the Dragon Palace from traditional Korean folktales through CookieRun's modern sensibility. It pairs eight characters, including popular ones such as Brave Cookie and Milky Way Cookie, as well as Sea Fairy Cookie and Sherbet Shark Cookie, with aquarium creatures such as capybaras and sea lions to depict the meeting of the two worlds. Visitors can see a story across the venue in which the cookies set off on an adventure with sea animals to find a hidden treasure in the Dragon Palace.

The collaboration also adds a location-based play experience so visitors can participate directly. It introduces a smartphone-based augmented reality (AR) stamp tour at Lotte World Aquarium for the first time, offering mini games by area and rewards.

It will also offer a range of collaboration products. These include random metal badges and keycap key rings featuring cookies and sea creatures. Dedicated ice cream, drinks and dalgona, as well as a photo booth, will also be available.

A "CookieRun ticket package" that can be used at a lower price than the regular rate is also set to go on sale. In addition to aquarium admission, it includes one set of bookmarks (five types) and a game coupon pack. Prices are 24,000 won for adults and teenagers and 21,500 won for children and seniors, and the package can be purchased from March 23 on the official website.

CookieRun will also take part in the 123-floor vertical marathon "Sky Run" to be held at Lotte World Tower on April 19. The company plans to run on-site events including a booth in the outdoor plaza and special goods for child participants who run with their parents through a kids' Sky Run.
