NHN Cloud said on Tuesday it signed a business agreement with SK Securities to strengthen cloud migration in the financial industry and enhance artificial intelligence transformation, or AX.

The two companies plan to review cloud adoption options suited to financial-sector environments and pursue longer-term AX direction and cloud-based innovation in phases. They will seek to improve work efficiency and service competitiveness using cloud technologies as SK Securities upgrades its AI capabilities, while also exploring new business opportunities.

NHN Cloud will provide cloud infrastructure and technical support that meet financial-sector requirements. SK Securities plans to gradually expand the use of cloud and software-as-a-service, based on its financial business and IT operations experience.

As part of that effort, the two will jointly review adopting the SaaS collaboration service Dooray! for use on internal financial-sector networks.

An NHN Cloud official said, "NHN Cloud has continued to accumulate cloud migration experience based on the security and stability required in the financial sector." The official added, "Through this agreement, we will continue to provide cloud utilization models that are better suited to the work characteristics and operating environments of financial customers."
