South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT said on Feb. 4 it will hold a "K-Global Project joint public-private integrated briefing" on Feb. 10 at the aT Center L Tower in Seoul to explain its support programmes for the growth of AI and digital innovation companies.

The K-Global Project is an integrated brand for the ministry's AI and digital startup support programmes. At the briefing, it will explain 31 programmes in five categories worth 144.1 billion won, including mentoring (1), scale-up (9) and overseas expansion (16), infrastructure support such as testbeds (2), and digital resource support such as AI, data and cloud (3).

Programme operators will present details and implementation plans for each programme. It will also run some consultation booths to help AI and digital innovation companies obtain more detailed information. This year, a total of nine private companies and institutions will attend, with Nvidia, Asan Nanum Foundation and Hana Bank participating in addition to existing private institutions, to explain incubation and development programmes for AI and digital startups.
