Netmarble said on Sunday it has revamped the brand site for its in-development monster-taming action RPG 'Mongil: Star Dive'.

Mongil: Star Dive is a sequel to the mobile collectible RPG 'Monster Taming' released in 2013. It features high-quality story presentation based on Unreal Engine 5, three-person tag-based action play and fast-paced combat, and a "Monstering Collecting" system for capturing, collecting and fusing monsters. It is targeting a multi-platform launch including PC and mobile in the first half of this year and is currently running global pre-registration.

The brand site revamp focuses on delivering a deeper look at Mongil: Star Dive's world and character narratives. It added detailed information on key characters appearing in Episode 1, including the protagonists "Cloud" and "Berna" as well as "Mina", "Ophelia" and "Francis".

Users can compare each character's 2D illustrations with in-game 3D models at a glance and also listen to voice performances by Korean- and Japanese-language voice casts. Starting with "Ellendor", the setting for Episode 1, the brand site plans to sequentially introduce character information by major regions that unfold along the story, including "Balein", "Serenia", "Sura" and "Namryeong", to build anticipation ahead of launch.

Language support for global gamers has also been significantly expanded. In addition to Korean, English and Japanese, it supports a total of 12 languages, adding Chinese (simplified and traditional), Thai, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Indonesian.

Last year, Mongil: Star Dive communicated directly with gamers worldwide at major global game events including Germany's gamescom, Japan's Tokyo Game Show and Brazil's Brazil Game Show. The latest brand site revamp was also carried out as an extension of strengthening such global communication.

A Netmarble official said, "We revamped the brand site so that people waiting for Mongil: Star Dive can access various information intuitively." The official added, "We plan to sequentially release various information related to the appealing world until launch, so we ask for your interest."
