Naver Series, operated by Naver Webtoon, is launching its 'Strongest New Title' campaign to spotlight promising new works.

Naver Series said on Sunday it selected popular web novel 'Urban Wanderer Reload' as the first featured title for the campaign. The work is a new novel by author Ganjjajang, who wrote 'One-Hit Instructor Master Baek', which has surpassed 100 million cumulative downloads.

'Strongest New Title' is a project in which Naver Series selects expected new works with strong quality and mass appeal from among many new serialisations and recommends them to readers. It aims to give readers the enjoyment of a trusted pick while giving creators a chance to connect with more readers early in a serialisation.

The campaign will run for three weeks through Feb. 22. During the first week through Feb. 8, it will double the number of free episodes from 25 to 50 to help readers immerse themselves in the work without 부담. Over the following two weeks, it will offer reward cookies when users view a set number of episodes. Participating in all events allows readers to enjoy about 40 additional episodes at no extra cost.

'Urban Wanderer Reload' follows the struggle of its protagonist, Gi Mu-hyeok, who is born with a constitution that prevents him from forming a dantian, an essential requirement for martial arts. It tells of a protagonist living as a wanderer due to side effects from an illegal procedure who returns from the brink of death and challenges himself again to become the world's strongest. The work proved its buzz by rising into the top tier of new-title rankings on the strength of what it calls an overwhelming sense of immersion.
