[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Meta has hired the Atma Sciences team that developed the AI-based coding app Gizmo, Business Insider reported on Thursday.
Business Insider reported that Meta hired the Gizmo development team and also secured a technology licence.
Meta’s move is seen as a step to strengthen its AI strategy and develop next-generation interactive content.
Gizmo is an AI coding platform that allows users to create mini-games or apps by entering simple prompts. For example, it can generate interactive content in which dragging a snail across the screen leaves a rainbow trail. Users can scroll through a feed like TikTok to explore a range of user-created content, and some popular posts are drawing attention with tens of thousands of likes, Business Insider reported.
