JoyCity said on Thursday it will expand the service platform for its new soccer game 'Freestyle Football 2,' being developed by its subsidiary Ure, to PCs and will soon run a second closed beta test dedicated to the PC platform to check the expansion.

The newly added platforms are Steam and Xbox on PC. JoyCity said it decided to introduce a PC version after its first console test so that more users worldwide can easily experience the game's differentiated fun.

The second closed beta test will be conducted exclusively on the PC platform. It is designed to intensively verify optimisation and gameplay in the newly built PC environment.

Test participants will be able to enjoy on PC the immersion unique to the one-player, one-character control that was well received in the first closed beta test, as well as the strategic element of 5-on-5 team play. The game will also offer a 'hybrid soccer' system, which creates variables that can decide wins and losses by combining each character's unique skills and physical attributes, with more refined controls.

JoyCity said it reflected feedback from global users collected during the last test through its official Discord channel and surveys in this second build. It plans to raise overall game completeness by a step, including adjustments to matchmaking balance and sweeping improvements to the user interface and user experience, and to present a pleasant playing environment.

Myung-soo Kim (김명수), the development executive producer and head of Ure, said he was pleased to be able to meet users worldwide in more diverse environments through the expansion to PC platforms. He said the company will do its best to verify optimisation in the PC environment and improve completeness through the second closed beta test to be held soon.
