Toss to foster 300 beauty small merchants

Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, said on Thursday it will foster 300 small merchants in the beauty sector. The initiative is part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “2026 Online Brand Small Merchant Development project (TOPS programme)”.

The TOPS programme supports small merchants in expanding online sales channels and growing brands by using platforms’ data and marketing capabilities. Toss was selected as an implementing agency in a call for platform operators. It will foster sellers that will be selected as final TOPS brands, starting with managing about 300 brand sellers, through end-December 2026.

A key feature is designing plans together, from improving sales structures to brand positioning strategies, based on data analysis. It also plans to run additional promotional programmes, including collaborations with influencers, for supported sellers in the second half of the year.

A Toss official said the company plans to combine its data and marketing capabilities to support practical sales growth and stronger brand competitiveness for beauty small merchants. The official added it will continue working with the government to create success stories for small merchants with growth potential.
