[Digital Today reporter Hyunwoo Choo (추현우)] Spatial data company Hepton Co Ltd has signed a strategic partnership (MOU) with AhnLab's blockchain subsidiary AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC) and will combine Web3 wallet infrastructure with a blockchain-based spatial data platform.
Under the agreement, TINA, a Geo-DePIN project operated by Hepton, officially integrated ABC-operated Web3 wallet Klip into its app. Users can experience the spatial data contribution and reward structure without separate complicated procedures. Existing Web2 users also gained a foundation to expand naturally into a Web3 environment.
ABC supports major multichains including bitcoin, ethereum, solana, Kaia and polygon through the Klip wallet, which has more than 2.4 million cumulative users. With years of accumulated security and blockchain technology providing a stable digital asset management environment, the integration is expected to boost both accessibility and reliability of the TINA service.
The two companies plan to continue exploring ways to cooperate to improve usability and user experience in a Web3 environment. To mark the partnership, Hepton will also hold an airdrop event that provides additional TINA tokens to users who link the Klip wallet.
