SK Telecom said on Wednesday it will introduce various T Membership benefits for the 2026 New Year. It will offer a limited-time perk for new sign-ups and focus on benefits customers can feel in everyday life.
Customers who newly join T Membership from Jan. 1 to Jan. 15 will receive coupons worth a total of 19,000 won. Eligible customers will receive the coupons automatically on Jan. 20 without a separate application process.
The coupon package consists of three items: a free Mega Coffee Americano (hot), a 10,000 won discount at Cheogajip Seasoned Chicken, and a 7,000 won discount at Paris Baguette.
SKT has also prepared discounts on health checkups for New Year health management. T Membership customers can use Eotteocare to get up to 49 percent off health checkups from Jan. 1 to March 31.
During the "T Day Week" period running from Jan. 5 to Jan. 9, it will offer benefits across food, shopping and leisure. Customers who order bhc chicken for 18,000 won or more through the Yogiyo app can receive a 7,500 won discount. Customers who subscribe to "T Universe Pass 100" will get a 8,500 won discount.
It also prepared grocery-shopping benefits, offering 20 percent off purchases of 40,000 won or more at No Brand, up to 10,000 won. It will also run a first-come, first-served event to give away shopping baskets.
It has also prepared outing and leisure benefits for families. T Membership members who download discount coupons from Jan. 5 to Jan. 9 can receive discounts at Lotte World Adventure Seoul and Busan through Jan. 18 and at Vivaldi Park through Jan. 31.
SKT also prepared 0 day benefits for "0 (Young)" customers aged 13 to 34. It has prepared cultural benefits favored by 0 customers, including a free invitation event to the musical "Beetlejuice" with 100 winners, 1 free invitation ticket to D Museum's "Taste House 2," and a 40 percent discount on tickets to the exhibition "Room for Wonder: Opening the Door of Imagination."
SKT also offers returning-customer benefits that restore the subscription tenure and T Membership tier from before cancellation. Customers who canceled an SKT line between April 19, 2025 and July 14, 2025 will have their tenure and T Membership tier restored if they rejoin within 36 months of the cancellation date.
Yoon Jaewoong, head of SKT's Product & Brand division, said he hopes the T Membership benefits prepared for January will add enjoyment and energy to customers' New Year routines. He said the company will continue efforts in 2026 to provide differentiated membership benefits customers can feel.
